Viva Espana Concert

People are starting to gather outside the entrance 30 minutes before the show. It was a very well attended concert last night.


Of course, beer after performance is always great. ;-)

I should have brought my earplugs. When did I stop bringing them? They were always in my bag especially for Kekeli performances and rehearsals.

Bangkok Part 2

I really enjoyed my lesson with Tomonori Arai. It was very detailed, fun and playful. I'll always remember him tearing sandpaper into tiny pieces and throwing them up in the air, pretending they're cherry blossoms. When I got back to the hotel, I have pieces of sandpaper in my shirt. hahaha. I accidentally brought home some (maybe it got stuck with the dirty clothes in my luggage) hahaha. Gen Matsuda told me he's kind but most of the time a crazy teacher. ;-)

I also thought Manuel Cabrera II, aside from Junpei Ohtsubo, would make it to the finals. I'm no judge but I think they played very well. I hope to see them again in some other competition or maybe next year at the same event.
